Inside OMTEC 2026: Exhibitors, Connections and the Future of Orthopedic Manufacturing
Make plans to join more than 1,500 OEMs, contract manufacturers, service providers and consultants at OMTEC 2026, marking two decades as the only conference dedicated to advancing the orthopedic manufacturing community.
The reimagined exhibit hall will be filled with more than 225 suppliers, service providers and CMOs with expertise in manufacturing, materials, surface treatments, sterilization and packaging. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with your current suppliers or identify new partners — all in one place and during one cost-effective trip.
“OMTEC made me better at what I do and made my life easier,” said Donald Raynor, Supplier Development Engineer at Orthofix. “Being able to meet with current and potential suppliers simplifies my job for the year ahead.”
The conference’s education program is packed with solution-driven sessions about orthopedic commercialization.
Head to the Tech Center for talks on future trends in additive manufacturing, designing instrumentation for enabling technologies, the increased interest in infection prevention solutions and insights from this year’s OMTEC Excellence Award winners.
The Think Tank has moved to a new location in the Exhibit Hall, but will feature the same interactive discussions about pressing issues impacting the world of orthopedic manufacturing.
You don’t want to miss this year’s keynote address. Robert Cohen, Vice President of Innovation and Technology in the Orthopaedic Group at Stryker, will take a forward-looking view at the trends and market forces that will drive orthopedic growth.
A dozen in-booth presentations will take place throughout the conference, providing knowledge about the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and supply chain solutions.
The popular Speed Networking sessions will return, giving OEMs the chance to meet one-on-one with several suppliers during a series of rapid-fire tabletop meetings.
“We got some great leads from the event, and it complemented the exhibit hall perfectly because it gave me the freedom to follow up with interested parties directly at their booths,” said Asher Breverman, Director of Product Development & Marketing at Foundation Surgical Group.
Last year’s Supply Chain Symposium, which led off the conference’s education sessions, was a huge success. Standing-room-only crowds learned about hot topics in optimizing supplier relationships and building resilience in manufacturing capabilities. This year’s sessions return to the opening day slot and will feature two tracks.
Supply chain sessions will focus on OEM/supplier negotiations, global concerns and using AI to build smarter procurement processes. The R&D track will dive into design for manufacturing essentials, AI-powered iteration and navigating the complexity of today’s R&D teams.
For the first time ever, the Exhibit Hall will open on Tuesday afternoon, right after the Supply Chain and R&D Symposiums conclude, for a festive welcome reception where attendees can get a head start on exploring the latest innovations and connecting with suppliers.
What would OMTEC be without its trademark networking opportunities to make new connections with business contacts or reconnect with old friends from the industry?
The Pancake Power Hour provides the necessary fuel for the conference’s action-packed second day, which features the Signature Lunch and early evening Networking Reception. Close out OMTEC with the hugely popular Burgers and Beers celebration and the final round of the OEM Raffle and the chance for attendees to head home with amazing supplier-supplied prizes.
“OMTEC gets all the little details right,” said Ryan Belaney, Phoenix Kinetics CEO and President of the Orthopaedic Surgical Manufacturers Association. “Easy registration, great social events and the OEM raffle is always a highlight.”
This year’s meeting will be held June 9-11 and registration is now open. Design engineers, executives, buyers, surgeons, investors and manufacturers should register to learn more about the meeting and secure their spot at the must-attend conference for orthopedic OEMs. Plus, OEMs that register by March 31 can unlock VIP access, special pricing and more.
