Jim Lancaster is President of Zimmer Biomet’s Global Reconstruction Business. With over 30 years of vast experience devoted to transforming the medical device industry, Mr. Lancaster is committed to alleviating pain and improving the quality of life for people around the world. Mr. Lancaster joined Zimmer Biomet in 2007. His his tenure with the company has encompassed several roles worldwide, including in Great Britain, the Netherlands and the United States — each opportunity affording expanded scope and responsibility. In December 2018, Mr. Lancaster was appointed President and General Manager of Zimmer Biomet’s Global Hip Business. By April 2019, he assumed global responsibility for the organization’s Knee and Bone Cement portfolios. In December 2019, the Global Reconstructive Business Division was formed by consolidating the Hip, Knee, Bone Cement, Early Intervention and CD Diagnostics businesses into one unit led by Mr. Lancaster. He is a named inventor on several hip and knee patents, as well as author of more than 10 peer-reviewed published articles. Mr. Lancaster holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Leeds in Leeds, England, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
