John is a visionary leader with extensive business development, manufacturing operations, process optimization, and supply chain management expertise. He has guided PPM through what we proudly refer to as the “Automation Revolution.” With a background in computer science, John has developed innovative programs and organizational structures that maximize employee potential while ensuring PPM’s sustained growth and success. These initiatives have dramatically enhanced PPM’s manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and efficiency, reinforcing our position as a leader in high-quality, high-volume precision manufacturing of complex orthopedic medical devices.

Jeff Richardson is the Industry Solution Director for Critical Manufacturing, focused on elevating customers’ manufacturing operations and quality for Industry 4.0. Jeff has worked with Life Sciences companies throughout his career, delivering sustained performance gains. For more than 30 years, Jeff has worked through all aspects of the value chain to validation. Jeff has both a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. He lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with his family.

Carolyn LaWell is the Chief Content Officer at ORTHOWORLD, where she leads the company’s editorial and education initiatives. Her responsibilities include working closely with the OMTEC Advisory Board to determine and craft the OMTEC education lineup. Before joining ORTHOWORLD in 2012, Ms. LaWell served as an editor and writer for multiple B2B magazines and newspapers. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
