Now, on to the FAQs…
Do I need to register for OMTEC?
No. We’ve taken care of that for you and you likely received an email confirmation to that effect. Pick up your badge onsite at the registration desk located in Hall G of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center beginning at 8:00 am CT on Tuesday, June 13.
While you are registered, we seek your consent on multiple items related to attending OMTEC. Please submit our media and personal information form by April 28.
When and where is my session(s)?
Hopefully, you have these details in an email. If you’re stuck, find your name in the list of speakers on this page and you’ll be directed to the day, time and location of your session(s). It’s important to know that the Tech Center and Surgeon Pod are located on the exhibit floor. The banquet room and the session rooms are next door to the Exhibit Floor and there is a large sign above the entrance to guide you. It might go without saying, but OMTEC is located inside the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. There are covered walkways from some of the neighboring hotels or enter through the main doors.
Who will attend my session(s)?
We can’t predict exactly who will attend your session, but you can count on orthopedic OEM/Device company engineers and executives to be in the audience. This page details the company names and titles of OEM attendees from the last two conferences. Further, it’s likely that there will be professionals from the exhibiting supplier companies as well as a consultant or two.
What is the deadline to submit my presentation and how do I submit it?
The presentation deadline is Friday, May 26. You can upload your PowerPoint deck on this page.
Please note: Session Rom and Surgeon Pod presentations should be submitted in Standard 4:3 format. Tech Center presentations should utilize the wide 16:9 format. We encourage you to use the OMTEC template: Session Room/Surgeon Pod, Tech Center.
How can I market my presence at OMTEC?
OMTEC 2023 graphics are available to use across your website, emails and social channels. Please use the registration promo code we provided you to help your colleagues save $100 on registration.
What hotels and airport do you recommend?
Fly into the Chicago O’Hare International Airport—it’s literally just minutes from the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and the neighboring hotels. Complimentary hotel shuttles are available. Please confirm your hotel room reservation using the links provided on this page to benefit from our negotiated rates.
