Artificial Intelligence (AI) enhances the efficiency of dimensional inspections of orthopedic implants. Through neural networks and principal component analysis, AI improves the accuracy and consistency of inspection results, while reducing time spent on the process. Neural networks can identify critical features to inspect, while principal component analysis reduces data dimensionality and streamlines the inspection process. This presentation will highlight the benefits of AI in the quality control process, including increased efficiency and the improved safety and performance of orthopedic implants. Attendees will learn about the role that AI can play in the inspection process and its application in their own organizations. We’ll provide a general overview of AI in dimensional inspections and its future potential in the industry.
