From Concept to Reality: Multi-Metal 3D Printing for Orthopedic Implants

Wednesday, June 10 @ 10:10 am - 10:25 am
Multi-metal 3D printing

What if orthopedic engineers could position each metal exactly where its properties matter most? Multi-metal 3D printing is bringing this concept into practical reach. This presentation explains the process architecture that enables the integration of multiple alloys within a single component, and highlights the key developments required to move from early exploration to stable and reproducible results.

Attendees will gain insight into achievable material combinations, interface geometries, bonding mechanisms, and the mechanical performance of multi-metal joints. The session also shows how engineered transitions create design freedoms and enable applications that cannot be realized with single alloy 3D printing.

As the first commercial group advancing this technology, we will share unique findings and representative examples, including multi-metal orthopedic applications that demonstrate current capabilities and emerging potential.

Attend this session by Amnovis in Booth 1332.
