Michael Evers is a Senior Market Analyst and writer at ORTHOWORLD. Jeff Sears is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain and business transformation. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Highridge Medical, Jeff has a proven track record of leading global organizations and driving performance in complex industries and markets. Previously, Jeff has held senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Operations at Paragon 28 and Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Enovis. His earlier roles include senior positions at TE Connectivity, and Stryker, where he led international operations, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Jeff also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.

Nate Folkert joined Orchid Orthopedic Solutions as CEO in 2020. Nate has 20 years of medical device experience and a deep understanding of the orthopedic implant end market. Prior to joining Orchid, he served as Vice President & General Manager for ConMed’s Orthopedics business, where he successfully accelerated growth through a customer-centric operating model with strong focus on accountability. Prior to ConMed, he served as President of Zimmer’s Trauma Division, preceded by several other executive roles at Zimmer and Stryker. Prior to joining Stryker, Nate was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army, having graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

David Pelizzon founded Squadron Capital in June 2008 and serves as President of the private investment firm. ATEC, OrthoPediatrics, Vilex and Structure Medical are among the companies Squadron Capital operates or provides financing. Since 2003, David has worked as a manufacturing executive in the U.S. and Asia, including Managing Director of Precision Edge Holdings, Colson Associates in Chicago. He is a retired U.S. Army officer who served almost 30 years on active duty in airborne and special operations units. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and has advanced degrees from Harvard University and the United States Naval War College.
