Why OMTEC Curates Its Exhibit Floor

OMTEC is not a general manufacturing trade show. The event is specifically designed for the orthopedic industry and intentionally structured to maximize value for orthopedic OEM attendees and exhibitors alike.

To ensure a positive and productive experience for all, we’ve outlined a few important rules that all exhibitors must follow. These guidelines—such as maintaining clear sightlines and refraining from early teardown—are based on industry best practices recommended by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Your cooperation helps us create an engaging, professional environment for every participant.

Booth fees, sponsorship fees, advertising and other OMTEC-purchases must be paid in full by January 15, 2027. Purchases after this date are due upon receipt.

Booth cancellations received before February 1, 2027 will be refunded 50% of sale value. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded.

Early teardown is not permitted. It's essential to keep your booth fully intact until the exhibit hall closes. Violators may face penalties, including loss of booth priority or exclusion from future OMTEC events.

Every booth, regardless of size or location, deserves clear visibility. Adherence to sightline rules is required. Inline Booths (10x10, 10x20) --Maximum back wall height: 8 feet (2.44m) --Maximum side wall height: --4 feet (1.22m) in the front 5 feet of the booth --8 feet (2.44m) in the back 5 feet --Hanging signs not permitted for inline booths. Island Booths (20x20, open on all sides) -- No height restrictions in most cases. However, each aisle-facing side must maintain a minimum of 20%/4 feet (1.22m) open and unobstructed visibility and sightlines for neighboring exhibitors. All 20x20 booth displays require pre-approval from show management by March 31, 2027. Show management may approve exceptions to the sightline requirement based on booth location, adjacent aisle widths, neighboring booth types, and overall floor plan visibility where they do not negatively impact neighboring exhibitors or aisle sightlines.
